Our Spectacular Building
Our £40 million new building was constructed as part of the proposed London Cancer Hub, a global centre for innovation in cancer research and treatment.
Because of its environmentally friendly credentials, we are all proud and delighted that it is the first secondary school building in the country to meet the Passivhaus energy performance standard.
You can find out more about our building, and its Passivhaus credentials, in a variety of industry articles including those linked below:

In addition to world-class science accommodation, we have the space and facilities we need to excel in the arts and sport.
Our hall, which is also used as a performing arts space, is larger than the standard normally expected for schools. We also have an incredible Sport England quality sports hall.
An unexpected benefit from using so much wood in the construction is that the building is quiet and purposeful, even with over 800 students inside. Our state-of-the-art air circulation system means that CO2 levels are not permitted to rise to high levels during the day, keeping the classrooms fresh and the students wide awake and ready for learning!
