Y12 Assessments
Year 12 Assessments
Year 12 students will sit assessments in December, March and June which will provide an opportunity for teachers to check how well their learning has been embedded. Results will be shared in students' progress reports, which will be published on MCAS in the sping and summer terms.
Students will sit the first two rounds of assessments in lessons followed by a more formal assessment period at the end of the school year which will take palce in the Sports Hall.
End of Autumn term assessments will take place between Monday 4th - Friday 8th Decemeber 2023.
Equipment
Students must have their full equipment with them each day for their assessments (including black pen, pencil and specific maths and science equipment such as a calculator, ruler, protractor and compass if relevant). They will not be expected to have a transparent pencil case at thi stage.
Students will only be set revision-based homework the week before their assessments. If your child is absent for any assessments, they will take them on their return to school.
Revision
Resources to support with revision can be found elsewhere on the website on our Revision Strategies page and our Raising Achievement Page (KS4 focus, but hopefully some useful items for some students and families).
